Blessings & Baptisms

This semester at Delaware Valley University was filled with weekly large groups, leadership Bible studies, late-night worship gatherings, impromptu hiking trips, fun in the quad, cheering on the basketball teams, A-Day activities, prayer huddles with the football team after spring practice, and so much more.
One of my favorite events was the Blessings Table that the students made for their peers during

finals week. Each student was given an empty bag and invited to fill it with snacks, candy, fruit snacks, stickers, stress balls, and other items to help them survive exams. The big question was "why"? The answer was always Jesus. He loved us first, so that we could love others. This kind of love builds relationships, breaks down walls, opens doors for meaningful conversations about faith, and allows us to pray together. We did a lot throughout the semester, always going above and beyond. But as Paul reminds us in Galatians 6:9, "...don't grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." This is always true, but especially true this semester, as we witnessed Del Val students want to publicly follow Jesus in baptism. A few others committed to getting baptised at home churches this summer.

These baptisms are the fruit of countless conversations, prayers, Bible studies, and acts of service. They are a reminder that God is still changing lives on college campuses.
Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and financial partnership. Your giving this semester has been a lifeline to Del Val University and many other campuses throughout Greater Philadelphia. Together, we are helping students encounter Jesus and discover that God truly writes a better story.
