Snow, Snow, and More Snow

There is nothing quite like a snowstorm in the Northeast. We usually get one big storm each winter, but this year, we have had several, along with near-zero temperatures. The snow has piled so high that we can barely see the mailbox. There have been canceled classes, closed roads, and even power outages.
Snow tends to get a bad reputation, but did you know the Bible mentions it twenty-four times? In Psalm 51:7, David prays, “Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow,” and Isaiah 1:18 says, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” In Scripture, snow is an image of the transformative effect of forgiveness and repentance.
Now in week six of the semester, we have seen God doing some amazing things across our campuses.
At Chestnut Hill College, we’ve been meeting weekly with the men’s lacrosse team for character talks and Gospel conversations. Twenty-seven players signed up for a weekly sports devotional, and twelve requested Bibles.

At Delaware Valley University, we launched the semester with a powerful night of worship and have continued with strong weekly gatherings followed by small groups.
At Gwynedd Mercy University, our weekly Bible study through 1 John continues to grow each week.
At Montgomery County Community College, we hosted a Valentine’s outreach table filled with Gospel conversations, God’s Word, and plenty of Hershey Kisses. Like all of our ministries, Montco is student-led and student-run, with students leading worship, organizing games, and facilitating small group discussions each week.
At Montco College, the top request on our weekly prayer board is always the same: “Pray for Campus Revival.” Our students understand that revival begins personally, with repentance. Repentance removes the sin that blocks God’s presence, restores joy, and invites His power to change our direction. When God washes our hearts white as snow, He opens the door to revival.

In the next two weeks, fifteen students from three campuses will travel to Western Pennsylvania for a Spring Break Disaster Relief and Rebuild Mission Trip. We would be grateful for your prayers and, if you feel led, your financial support—either for this trip or for the ministry throughout the semester.
Thank you for partnering with us in what God is doing!
