Fall 2024 Updates: Let's Get This Party Started

We have so much to celebrate in the Greater Philadelphia Campus Ministry Network! God has set us up for spiritual success this fall at Delaware Valley University, Gwynedd Mercy University, Montgomery County Community, and Chestnut Hill College. Thanks for reading along and praying for us this semester.
Here are some highlights so far:
Football season has started at Del Val U and we were able to share the Gospel with the entire program. I am excited to not only be the campus pastor but also the football chaplain. This gives us access to players, coaches, and fans. From this sports ministry, we are able to invite other athletes to our weekly bible studies and campus outreach activities. During Welcome Week, we had a worship and game night on campus, with close to 40 students in attendance.
We have also started our weekly bible study at GMU and some of the baseball players have started to attend. Hopefully, God is opening doors to work with the men's baseball team. Please pray alongside us as we look to start weekly character coaching and other opportunities here. In other exciting news, GMU has a brand new ball field!
At Montco, we are allowed to start hosting bible studies and campus activities after the club fair. We have had informal worship and prayer times outside in the quad. It is always fun to watch students turn their heads when they hear worship songs being sung. Some are excited to hear the familiar praise music and some are not. Either way, we have used worship to start sharing the Gospel on campus.
At Chestnut Hill College, things are getting started with weekly bible study and character coaching with the men's lacrosse team. We look forward to seeing all that God wants to do this fall on this Philadelphia campus.
Lastly, we have a new semester missionary intern joining us at Del Val U. Barbara Sanchez actually gave her life to Christ in our group two years ago. God has so changed her life that she wants to give back and serve the next generation of students behind her. Please pray alongside Del Val U and Barbara's impact for God using her gifts, talents, and abilities this semester.
On a personal note, my wife Beth and I were so happy to have a wedding in the family. Our daughter, Savannah, met James at Millersville University in the Navigators ministry, which is similar to our Baptist Campus Ministry. They already bought a house in Ambler, PA, and God is using them in their jobs and serving at Young Life in the local high school.
