Chestnut Hill College Updates

At a recent Collegiate Missions Training we talked about the importance of “Missional Engagement - Engaging the Lost.” Missional engagement is a little bit tougher during a Covid season when groups are still primarily meeting online. I am thankful that God has opened up new doors at Chestnut Hill College to engage students that maybe have never heard about Jesus’ love on the college campus. Each week, I get to share character studies and the hope that God’s word brings.

Paul says to the church in Corinth, “Everyone who competes in the game goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever” (I Cor. 9:25). I love that Paul uses a sport analogy to encourage us to chase after Jesus. With this in mind, we have been giving away sports-themed Bibles and challenging students to read them every day.  We are also, encouraging them to watch The Chosen mini-series to help them understand the context around the life of Jesus.

Thanks for your ongoing prayers - please let us know how we can be praying for you!
