Delaware Valley University Football

Football players are powerful on and off the field. I am so excited to once again be the Chaplain of Delaware Valley University’s football team. I constantly tell the team that students on campus look up to them, and not just because they are a foot taller; it is because they are leaders. The way they choose to live their lives makes a big difference on the campus.
Unfortunately, I received a call yesterday that there are a couple of football players with COVID-19, so they are limiting the amount of people who can be around the team. I will now be meeting with the football team via Zoom until the Covid-19 numbers drop. The good news is that since we decided to go virtual with the ministry, two of the basketball players expressed interest in joining our weekly bible study. God has a purpose and a plan. I will be honest: I am bummed to not be on the campus. However, I am excited to invest in any way that I can into these students' lives and ultimately the campus.
Your giving and support are the reason these students are hearing the gospel every week! Your investment goes right to these football players (now basketball too) and then to the campus. There is nothing more powerful than the Good News of Jesus Christ. There is nothing more needed in the hearts and lives of the Del Val University students.
A few prayer requests:
Please pray for our leadership on this campus.
Please pray that God uses our bible study to reach students with the gospel.
Please pray for the memorial service for the football player who passed a few weeks ago, which will take place on October 11th. Pray that God gives me the words to speak.
Thanks so much for your prayers and support!
