Great Weekend of Collegiate Ministry Training!

While my family and friends were relaxing at the shore, I was part of an intense group training for college ministers. We had a group of 12 College Campus Ministers from campuses like Penn State, Temple, UPenn, Drexel, Clarion, Lock Haven, and a few others. We spent the weekend near Lock Haven University and got to visit and prayer walk for their students this fall. We also had some great times together learning and discussing relevant topics. How do we connect, engage, disciple and encourage students? What are the 5 trends in spirituality and religion? What are the 5 things that young adults want to talk about? What are some of the main questions students are asking? Where do I belong? What do I believe? What should I be doing now? What is the good life? Who do I love? Who loves me? We also talked about the differences between millennials and Generation Z'ers. I am excited to be a part of this motley group that loves Jesus and college students. Basically, I fit right in!
