Missional Engagement

A classic definition for Christian Missions is preaching the Gospel message outside of your culture. Most people expect missionaries to be getting on a plane or traveling by boat to share the message of Jesus.

What if we had people from all over right in our backyard, would that be considered missions? What if our neighbors, although growing up here, never understood the love of Jesus? 

Believe it or not, spiritual poverty exists right within our communities. People around us are living and dying without knowing Jesus. God has strategically placed us to be salt and light in our workplaces, homes, and communities. Oh, and if you are hankering to share Jesus with someone from a different culture, who speaks a different language or wears different clothes, come with me to the local college campus! We have about 40 different nations represented at the community college.  

We are not only called to know God but to make Him known to others. Thanks for your support in helping us reach students on the local college campus. Your support, partnership, and prayers matter so much.
