In Collegiate Ministry, we typically get about 4-8 semesters with each student. We are saying goodbye yet again to another one of the greats this semester.

Sheridan Schempp has been serving on our ministry team for the last 2 years, most recently as President of our Christian Club. He is now heading to Temple University. I was excited to meet up with Sheridan one last time this past week to say goodbye and hear his plans for the next year:

  1. He wants to get involved in campus ministry at Temple.

  2. 2. He wants to join the Temple marching band to be a light for Jesus and bring students to the campus ministry.

It was so exciting to hear him articulate God’s calling on his life. Please pray for Sheridan and his new ministry at Temple University. Please also pray for the new president of our Christian Club, Emily D.

Paul says in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” I share with students all the time that we are “missionaries disguised as college students." This is true of whichever school you go to or wherever you work. We are all missionaries disguised as something so that we can share the Gospel. The great news is that God gives us the Holy Spirit's power to be His witnesses, so we don’t have to do it on our own.

How can we be praying for you? Please reply to this post and keep us in the loop on your life and ministry. We are partners in ministry!
