Prayers for a Student

Two years ago, I met a Jewish student at MCCC and when he found out I was a pastor asked me, "Are you going to try and convert me?" I told him no, but then asked him, "Are you looking for the Jewish Messiah?" He said sure. I then read him Isaiah 53 and asked if he knew the prophet Isaiah was talking about? He said Jesus! We had an "Aha!" moment and this started his search for truth. A bit later he found me on campus and told me he was now a Christian.

Fast forward to yesterday on campus. I haven't seen him in over a year and a half. I asked him about school and life. He said everything was "fine". But when I asked how I could pray for him, he broke down and almost started crying on the school steps. Life has been real hard and his parents had him placed in a group home. My heart breaks for the hurting students at MCCC with similar stories.

The great news is God loves and has plans for all of these students. Please pray for this guy and many others like him.
