So Thankful

This week was another highlight in college ministry. I was able to take a group of 30 students from Montgomery County Community College to the Sight & Sound Theatre. This is such a rare treat but the students at Montco don’t even understand the gift they are given. Sight & Sound donates these tickets, not to promote their stage performance status but to make the Bible come to life so that students like mine can hear the Gospel for the first time.  

And wow - Queen Esther did not disappoint. The theme that was stated over and over was from Psalm 46:10 - Be still and know that I am God. This was true of Esther that in her life: no matter how chaotic or uncertain, God had positioned her to save His people. God has also allowed this world to surround us with fear, despair and worry, but He put you right where you need to be to make a difference for His Kingdom. Jesus made an appearance in the Queen Esther show and this moment brought tears to my eyes and I said a quick prayer for all the students that went with me.

Please pray with me for the hearts and lives of college students everywhere to turn to Jesus and give their lives to Him. Thanks for your prayers and support, and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
