Oswald Chambers - "Prayer does not equip us for some greater works- prayer is the greater work."

On the first day of Montgomery County Community College, the student leaders gathered to pray at the center of campus. They came up with this list of prayer requests for Montco. Will you pray along with them for the 2023 Fall Semester?

  1. For incoming students to have an openness and receptivity to hearing the Gospel.

  2. For strong connections to be made between our Christian club and the campus.

  3. Prayers against hopelessness, despair, and depression on our campus.

  4. Energy for student leaders to get their school work done, commit to bible study, and outreach ministries.

  5. For faculty, staff, the security, custodial team, and staff that we might be a strong witness to them.

  6. For our teachers that don't know Jesus, that they might come to know Him and then influence students to know Him.

  7. For our evangelism outreach team on Wednesday's and the "Come take the heaven test" ministry of George Loper.

  8. For our scheduling conflict with classes, that we choose the right time to meet and engage many students.

  9. That our signs won't be taken down around campus and students will know that our Christian club exists.

  10. For us as student leaders to grow in our faith and be all that God has designed us to be.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7
