The Joy in Serving Others

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Your giving makes such a difference, not only on the college campus but in the community. We are so blessed to be partnering with Send Philly and the Send Network, focusing on Philadelphia. This past week, several students from Montgomery County Community College were able to serve in the Logan section of the city. We cleaned up a schoolyard, did some maintenance on a basketball court, and worked in a community garden. Even though we had to wear masks and work on a giant, hot parking lot during a heatwave in the midst of a pandemic, we were all so excited to be able to serve. It was an exhausting day, but serving the Lord brings joy on the inside. We might never meet the kids that play on this playground, but the ability to make it a safe, clean place to play was all the incentive we needed. Thanks so much to Kyle Canty, Pastor Alanzo, and Richard Washington with Bringing Everybody Together Family for making this day happen.
